PICTURE:
The picture on the Toshiba DLP 52HM84 is excellent. With an Analog signal - it improves the signal to a point in competition with normal digital. With a digital signal - It is Awsome! Clear - excellent blacks - rich color. With a High Definition Signal - well, it's like being there. This is one of the finest High Definition pictures I have seen and I have been researching this television purchase for 5 months. The display is anti-glare and shows well with the light in the set on low power - great picture with window shades open!
INSTALLATION:
The Set is installed in the Toshiba ST5284 stand which is made for this television. The stands are in short supply and I had to drive 200 miles to get one of them. However - the stand makes the TV look like a single piece of furniture. Excelletn quality - Both Stand and TV made in the USA!
PLASMA FUNCTIONS:
The Remote Control is easy to use - and works with digital cable box's, surround sound amp, VCR's and DVDs with no problem. It is backlit which makes it easy to see when the light is turned down. Plenty of input selections - easy to use on the remote control.
