LG 50PK550 Review
There is considerable and inconsistent color shift at varying brightness levels in the PK550 plasma TV as shown in these shots of a split gray scale during calibration. The color shift will show up during viewing content especially in light and white content.

There are exceptional fine tuning calibration controls on the 50PK550 which is unusual for a TV of this price and feature point. For example there is a 20 point white balance control. Aside from color shift, a professional calibrator can use these controls. However, the average user may not do themselves any favors. The easiest solution? Follow our calibrated picture setting instructions. And make sure to turn the Sharpness down.
