LG 50PG25 Review

The plasma TV is characterized by knocked down colors (more understated than oversaturated). The picture is realistic and well suited for a darker room environment. Featurewise, the Fluid Motion and Video Noise Reduction features do not seem to have much effect on performance while the Clear Voice technology and Gamma picture function do enhance viewing pleasure and improve performance. The aesthetics of the TV are very nice with a small bezel (frame) in gloss black, one uniform contiguous sheet of glass covering the screen and bezel and a depth of just over 3 inches. The TV comes with a nicely designed swivel table top stand. There are plenty of HDMI inputs as well as computer and composite inputs.

This is a budget minded plasma offering with high value marks. Up conversion is somewhat lacking due to a budget oriented chip set but does a decent job. Our ratings are below, please see the full review for details on each rating.
