BUYING EXPERIENCE:
I purchase 2 routers. One was defective after 1 month and 10 plus calls to fix my shipping address in their files they still shipped to some other person 30 miles from me with the same last name. And refuses to give me a refund till they get the package back from wrong delivery that UPS cant recover. I was lied to repeatedly by staff and general manager and had to file with the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION to get my money back. Still waiting for resolution.

The vendor had a competitive price, and pricescan.com gave it a five star vendor rating.
BUYING EXPERIENCE:
I submitted an internet order, and the next day received an email requesting me to call for the rest of the information required to complete the sale. Basically the information they were looking for was why I had not taken all the options and extended warranty. I resisted most of the pitches, bought cables and upgraded shipping, and finally convinced the salesman that would be the extent of the order. I assume the set shipped the next day, since it went on my VISA at that time. The next week I was called to arrange for the delivery, and felt good about the buying experience at that time, giving it a four of five star satisfaction rating. That disappeared when the truck arrived, and instead of a 37\" set there was a 30\" set, with a street price $1200 lower. The documentation had the part number of the 37\", so I declined delivery and had it sent back. I called immediately and told of the error, and asked when the set ordered would be sent. For three weeks I never received a straight answer. I was finally told that they had found out where my set went, and when it came back they would be sending it to me!
It is now 31 days after ordering, 29 days after being charged, and nine days after "my exchange" (their term, implying that the delay is a result of my actions) has supposedly been shipped. Three days ago it was due in two days, now it is due next week. This is by far the worst buying experience, with the worst vendor, I have ever endured.

BUYING EXPERIENCE:
I phoned and ordered three Philips Plasma Tvs. I was told extra shipping applied because UPS breaks the screens. I was sold four year in house warranties, quoted the wrong total and allowed them to change what the quote was. I was told they would try their best to ship in time for Christmas. I was to receive a tracking number in my e-mail. Nothing came before Christmas, I phoned the day after and spoke to three different people with three different stories. I was to receive a call Monday morning by 11:00 A.M. confirming when the TVs would arrive. Late Tuesday, I phoned to see where they were and was told the manager was supposed to have called. I was told they had shipped but the salesman had no information. I cancelled the order and at that point was told there is a 20% restocking fee on each TV and all shipping charges would have to be paid. I asked for the manager and was told he would call me back. I phoned my credit card company and was told they could not charge either!
Restocking or shipping as they had never told me about it and even though they had already charged my credit card [day of sale] I put it in dispute and it is on record with my credit card company. I finally received a call from another "manager" and was told they would really try and ship in get the items to my by Friday, December 31, 2004. I refused and again told them very strongly the order was cancelled. I would not recommend they to anyone, they got the five star rating by writing their own reviews. What a rip off!

BUYING EXPERIENCE:
It was clearly the worst buying experiance possible. They stated that the unit was in stock and would arrive in 5-6 business days. Three weeks later we were on the phone trying to cancel the tv. I spoke with David the GM of the company and he told me the plasma industry was basically dirty and I should have read the fine print. They finally delivered the tv over three weeks after ordering, but the cable and surge protector did not arrive with the tv. The surge protector was received two days after the tv, but the high definition cable still has not arrived. We purchased a cable locally and tried to cancel the one from Nice, but they said they shipped it already. The whole experiance was unreal. They called one day after the order was placed and told us they were shipping the product that day. One week later we called and asked what happened and they said it was back ordered and would ship that same day. We never received a tv the following week. We were lied to thruogh the w! hole transaction. I believe you have a responsibility to the people who go to your web site to provide truthful reviews. I am sure no one will see this one because Nice would not pay the advertising dollars to your company if you tell the truth about their deceptive practices. The whole process would have been fine if they would have said at the time of the order that the product was not in stock. What ever happened to being able to expect business to be transacted with honest integrity?
