The website seemed very professional and the price couldn't be beat.
BUYING EXPERIENCE:
I placed an order for a Panasonic agdvx100a digital camcorder on the a & m site. The advertised price was $1379 on the website. I proceeded to checkout and even picked the shipping method. The following day I received an email requesting me to call an 800 number to verify my order. When I finally got a hold of someone, they proceeded to tell me that the price of the camera was $2800!!! When I questioned the man he hung up on me!
DO NOT ORDER ANY PRODUCTS FROM A & M!!! THEY ARE BIG TIME SCAM ARTISTS!!! I ended up calling my credit card company and having them stop payment immediately. I'm warning you so that you do not have to go through what I've been through. I guess the old adage "If it's too good to be true - it probably is", definitely applies to A & M photo world.

Most obvious reason was price.
PLASMA MODEL:
Picture looks ok, satisfied with it. Set up was simple, it has lots of input options and on screen options and seems bigger than I thought it would be. Still waiting on the dvi cable to see the difference over a component hookup. Sound is decent, and overall would be satisfied, if I didn't think the tv was refurbished, or resold to me. It stated on website to be new.
BUYING EXPERIENCE:
I got the tv today, and had four major issues, one minor. Minor was no invoice in box. Then there was the missing protective film that was supposed to cover the screen. There were scratches on the border of the screen as if the unit had been refurbished, or resold. Two dead pixels, both in center, one towards middle screen the other on the bottom. And a slight white blemish or scratch by the center. I am going to call in the am, already sent an e-mail. Also paid for overnight, and got it a week and a half later, ordered on sunday, picked up on tuesday.
