    Pioneer Plasma Technology

Pioneer Plasma Panel: Higher Brightness, Greater Contrast
Plasma TV image quality takes another step forward with Pioneer's new-generation plasma panels. In addition to the Pioneer-exclusive Deep Encased Cell Structure, another breakthrough technology called Crystal Emissive Layer boosts efficiency beyond that of any previous model, resulting in higher brightness and unprecedented dark-area contrast. Blacks are blacker, while light areas maintain their brightness, providing eye-catching, realistic video images.

New Pure Drive Pro Video Processing
The best possible picture quality is realized by combining color management, video scaling, and other image processing on a single chip developed exclusively for Pioneer professional plasma displays. Scaling performance has been enhanced to ensure that even high-definition signals are reproduced with minimal data loss and artifacts. In addition, ACE IV technology identifies the qualities in each image shown, and optimizes the picture to match, ensuring consistent picture quality for fast and slow motion and dark and light scenes.

    Pro Display Modes
Six Pro display modes allow precise image adjustment for any situation:

Under-Scan: Displays 100% of the mage, including edge information which is usually cut off

Color Off: Removes all color information for precise display of black and white source material

Still Image Processing: Displays still images accurately by disabling motion-sensing processing

Pure Image: Displays images as closely as possible to original signal, with minimal image processing

High Contrast: Uses special dynamic range expansion to make images more vivid

Blue Only: Used in broadcast and post-production for display calibration

    Convenience Features

    Advanced Dual Screen Function
Remote control and RS-232C control operation accesses Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Side-By-Side modes. PIP sub-image can be switched among four locations on screen, and varied between 0% and 80% transparency. Side-by-Side images can be switched, and audio can be switched independently.

    Video Wall Applications
Pioneer makes it easy to configure multi-display video walls in 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 configurations. Adjusted and Normal display modes allow more natural multi-screen presentations, while the Auto Brightness Limiter function sets a uniform brightness level on all monitors in a 2x2 or 3x3 configuration.

    RS-232C Status Feedback
When a command is issued from a control device to the PDP-607CMX display, the plasma returns it's status, giving you remote confirmation of your display configuration, as well as easy troubleshooting.

    Image Retention Management
The PDP-607CMX incorporates four anti-burn-in functions, including an exclusive Seamless Orbiter, which rotates images in small increments of less than one pixel, for a more gradual, less noticeable rotation without sacrificing functionality.

    Low Power Consumption
Due it's highly-efficient plasma panel, the PDP-607CMX achieves the industry's lowest power consumption of 450 Watts. Five energy saver modes increase efficiency further allowing Auto Brightness Control in response to room lighting conditions, Video Mute, and Power Save.

ES Card Slot Interface: Unlimited Expandability
The Pioneer ES Interface allows the plasma display to handle virtually any type of video application with enhanced video processing and communications terminal boards.

    Audio System Features

A built-in 9W x 2 stereo amplifier produces quality stereo audio with optional side-mounted speakers.

    Terminals and Connections

Video Inputs available with optional Video Card installed.
