The ZT60 series is the top of the line for 2013/14. Panasonic is going for "beyond reference quality" with this one, and it shows. It has dual THX certifications, the Studio Master Panel, and an ISFccc calibration mode right out of the box. There is no better plasma picture to be found.

Panasonic VIERA VT60 Series
The VT60 series is the replacment for last year's VT50 series. It is a pretty straight forward update that recieved a few new features. The 3000 focused-field drive is the most notable improvment. It keeps the Infinite Black Ultra panel that made the VT50 one of the best of the year. This one is worth a look.

Panasonic VIERA ST60 Series
The ST60 series is your middle of the road plasma offering from Panasonic in 2013/2014. It drops all 3D playback and the voice recognition features of the ZT60 and VT60 series. It keep the Viera Connect functions and uses an Infinite Black Pro panel to present an excellent picture. This is one of the best value models considering what you get for the price.

Panasonic VIERA S60 Series
The S60 series is your bare bones model with a full HD picture. It replaces the popular U50 series from 2012. It has built in wifi and a web browser. Panasonic also added a few content providers, but left out the full Viera Connect platform. This is the perfect set for those interested in a plasma TV, but don't need the extras included with internet functions.

Panasonic VIERA X60 Series
This is the low end plasma for 2013/2014 from Panasonic. Bells and whistles are nowhere to be found on this one. The 720p display in 2 sizes makes this a fantastic budget option for those who are tight on spending but still want the qulity picture of a plasma TV.

The VT50 series 3D plasma represents the top of the line from Panasonic in 2012 plasma televisions. It has the new Infinite Black Pro panel with improved contrast and black levels, it also has the expanded Viera Connect online suite that has been expanded with more apps, a web browser and Myspace TV, an exclusive joint venture from Panasonic and Myspace.

Panasonic VIERA GT50 Series
New for 2012 the GT50 series repalces last year's GT30 series. This model also features a 1080p Infinite Black Pro Panel with increased black levels and contrast. It also has the expanded Viera Connect suite with new apps and web browser but does not have the social networking features of Myspace TV.

Panasonic VIERA UT50 Series
The UT50 series is the closest replacement to the extremely popular S30 series from 2011. The UT50 series does not have the Infinite Black panel of the higher end models but it does still have 1080p resolution, 3D capability, 2D to 3D conversion (for what that feature is worth) and comes in 4 sizes ranging from 65" to 50." the 600Hz sub field drive is also include. This is the lowest feature and price 1080p plasma that Panasonic produces for 2012 and early 2013.

Panasonic VIERA XT50 Series
The XT50 line of 2012 Panasonic plasma TVs are 720p 3D plasmas. The 2 sizes (50", 42") in the XT50 line are meant to make 3D affordable on just about any budget. The active 3D in these televisions shows 720p to each eye and that is still more resolution than passive 3D on a 1080p television.

Panasonic VIERA U50 Series
The U50 is a very low priced 1080p plasma television available in only one size, 50 inch. It is also the only plasma TV in Panasonic's 2012 plasma line up that is not 3D. This budget plasma has a 1080p panel and the only standout feature for the U50 is its low price.

Panasonic VIERA X3 Series
The X3 series of plasmas are a line of 720p plasmas aimed at the budget conscious consumer. They feature 600Hz sub field drive, Viera Image Viewer and are ready for WiFi for DLNA access to your home network, however, they do not feature internet connectivity.

The Viera G25 series of plasma for 2010 uses Panasonics NeoPDP Infinite Black panel. We were impressed with last year's NeoPDP panel in the G10 plasmas and the new series offers improved picture with even deeper black levels. The G25 plasmas are THX Certified displays and offer the THX Movie Mode feature that will set your TV for optimum color and contrast when watching your favorite movies.

Panasonic VIERA G20 Series
The Viera G20 series of plasma for 2010 also uses Panasonics NeoPDP Infinite Black panel. We discovered from Panasonic's tech staff that there is a subtle new anti-glare technology on the G-series Panasonic plasma models. While they are concentrating on still delivering superior black levels than LCD TVs, they have improved the glare reflection substantially over the past two years.
