NEC 42PD2 Flat / Plasma Screen TV

The PlasmaSync 42PD2 is the latest generation of NEC’s 42" PD Series monitors, the only plasma monitors available today that are designed specifically to provide an ideal solution for digital signage applications in public display environments. PD Series monitors are thin and can hang on a wall, but that isn’t the only reason they are the ideal solution for digital signage. The PlasmaSync 42PD2 incorporates an innovative set of features and capabilities that enable it to successfully meet the challenges of public display application environments like no other plasma monitor. If you are looking for a 42" plasma monitor to display information in public settings, choose the only one that was designed specifically for your application needs – the PlasmaSync 42PD2.

Thin bezel enables 2x2 matrix configuration
At slightly more than 1" thick, the front bezel of the 42PD2 is the thinnest of any plasma monitor and thin enough to enable a 2x2 matrix configuration with minimal inter- ference tot he screen image.

Anti-glare screen improves readability
The 42PD2 includes an anti-glare screen filter that helps make images readable in the difficult ambient lighting conditions common to many public display environments - such as storefront windows and transportation terminals

Automatic Operation simplifies your application
The 42PD2 has a built-in programmable timer that allows the monitor to operate automatically. Power on, power off, switch input sources or enable the AccuShield Phosphor Protection System without ever touching the monitor. This can alleviate the need to train your personnel in the operation of the 42PD2 when deploying large numbers of displays across distributed installation sites.
