- I just purchased a 42" plasma TV. I live in a place where there is no digital broadcast signal. In fact I have satellite TV. I noticed that the images are pretty sharp generally but I was watching a sporting event and noticed that longer views and when there is a lot of motion on the screen the image seems to blur. Does this have something to do with the TV, the TV connections or the signal? Thanks.

There are four mounting points equally spaced on the rear that will mount to bracket. I would be more concerned with the bracket you are planning on using as those vary by manufacturer.

I would not suggest mounting a plasma screen outside as airborne particles and temperature changes will impact the life of the unit. I am not aware of any enclosures designed specifically for plasmas for the outside.

The fuzziness is from the signal with the far back pans and zooms.

You will need to check with JVC to see if they make a system cable the length you require.

To minimize your connections going to the plasma, you can use an A/V receiver as a switch to run all of the connections. Then use the monitor out on the A/V receiver to the plasma.

I would suggest buying some shorter cables. There are many manufacturers out there and I have found that the products from Straightwire to be reasonably priced and offer good performance. If you decide to use the same cable, do not coil in a circle, lay it out in an "S" curves to prevent any signal interference.

- It's possible to find a plasma with 4 picture mode?
If by 4 picture mode, you mean a single screen displaying 4 pictures at one time in a grid, I am not aware of anything on the market that can perform this task as it comes from the factory. One would need a separate video processor to enable this type of function.

You will want to use the best quality cable you can justify purchasing. There is the law of diminishing returns whenever buying cables. The better the cable the better the picture but, the improvement may not justify the increased cost of the cable for your application.

HDMI is backwards compatible with DVI. There are cables on the market that have DVI on one end and HDMI on the other. There are also adaptors for HDMI to DVI. I would suggest the following connection in order from best to worse, HDMI, DVI, Component, S-video, Composite.

I am not aware of any plasma with 5 s-video inputs. There are some on the market with two VGA inputs and can also do the PIP and POP/Split screen functions.
