Gateway Plasma List of Categories
- Where can I read a review of the Gateway plasma TVs?

- I just wanted to add my too cents. I am not a teck junky but we recently upgraded our old 27" sony with the Gateway 42" ED Plasma. We spent several days going store to store comparing both the price and the quality of picture. We now have the system home and soon it will be mounted on the wall... We are very happy with the picture quality. The only problem we are having now is getting all the remotes on one controller. Gateway does not have the codes to program this into another remote. I find this a big problem. Now we have the DVD/R remote, cable remote, Stereo remote... I cannot belive this is suck a big problem but no one seems to have an answer. If someone has a sullution I would be greatful. thanks and remember we are very happy with the Gateway 42" ED plasma.
- I am looking at a Gateway 50 HD.Does anyone have experience with this plasma?
- My plasma recently stopped displaying a picture 1yr and 3months old. i am 3 months out of warranty and am going to be charged ~ $1000.00 to fix an image board. have you heard of this and if so is there any cheaper way of getting the plasma working again? maybe i can buy an image boardfrom someone online. thanks for your help

Gateways are made by Sampo. I have found the Panasonics to have better performance.

A learning remote may be the answer for you. You can program the buttons from another remote to this one by sending the IR signal from one remote to the learning remote. Visit http://www.remotecentral.com/ for all of your remote questions.

- I am looking at a Gateway 50 HD.Does anyone have experience with this plasma?
Gateway plasmas are basically a SAMPO with their name on the front. I have not been impressed by Sampo's plasma line.

I have heard of various cards going bad after some period of time. The cost is generally rather high, that I why I highly recommend buying an extended warranty.

If it is an EDTV, then the maximum resolution is 480p.
