Calibrating the Panasonic GT50 Series TV

Calibration Notes and Processing Testing: Although the TC-PGT50 series does not have the ISFccc Calibration Mode with Advanced controls nor the 10 point white balance controls (syncs with software like Calman for easy/precise calibration) like the VT50 series it does otherwise contain a decent host of calibration options. The menu system for calibration needs revision for ease of use when custom calibrating as you must continually exit and navigate to start after each change. We've posted the Calman software results as well as our custom calibration settings for your use. These settings for the GT50 series are best in mid to bright room light conditions. For low light room conditions turn the contrast setting down to 95 or use the THX Cinema setting preset picture mode which is good. The THX Cinema and THX Bright Room settings found on the GT50 are the major upgrades over the ST50 series.
